The Old Man

Definitelly deserves his own post by now, but let me get to it step by step.

The young family left the Shipyard yesterday, and there was this last second ship-in-the-water drop. Suprisingly, Pieter (the old Man) did not come out for the lift-drop, but did come to say goodbye as they were leaving.

On a side note, they went to Scotland to some public gold fields to try their luck. I gave them four stones from Resky Raj to drop there as a new geological anomaly. I find it hilarious.

On another side note, let me mention the whole family by name, just to for fun. Pieter is the old Master of Trade, seriously. He literally dug this place out of the muddy shore, started with one Tjalk on which the family lived for years. Then the young family consists of the son Bjorn, his wife Kiona, and their seven year old son, Finley.

Sooo, long story short I go out of the Shipyard in the morning to get some supplies (11 Euro on bank account, things are not very peachy at the moment. As I pass Peiter’s houseboat (8am), I see him standing, as if dancing?). Anywayz…

When I get out the gate the first thing I see is some kind of takeout sprawled all over Donny’s car. I do not like Donny (long story), so I was like: Cooool. It was still partially wrapped in aluminum foil, dripping sauce all over the front tire. Nice. Still, I thought some kids threw it out the car or something. Then I looked over at Bjorn’s truck, and saw that the tailgate was open. And then it all clicked together like a puzzle. Bjorn did mention the truck before…. In connection to Pieter…

The Man is 83 years old!

They have to hide the crane keys from him :):):)

He must have went out on a prawl. Came late/early, condition unknown. Shipyard closed so he slept in the back of the truck. Partied till passout later.

I bow my hat 🙂
